Joint Power Allocation for Remote State Estimation With SWIPT

In this paper, we consider remote state estimation with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT). A estimator receives the estimate transmitted by a sensor sends an acknowledgment (ACK) signal to via feedback channel. The has no other energy supply except that it can harvest from received ACK signal, which carries simultaneously. Since symbol error rate of depends on sensor’s transmission allocation, there exists tradeoff between accuracy consumption sensor. Moreover, is restricted remaining level in its battery, decided amount harvested energy. Therefore, jointly optimize allocation formulate optimization problem into infinite time-horizon average cost Markov decision process (MDP). We first prove existence optimal stationary policy, then present monotonic structures policy. Simulation results are provided verify illustrate main results.
